Roadtrip 2021-2022 Winter: Seaside - Yachats - Brookings

Day 17 - Brookings and Harris Beach

One of those warnings that pretty much everyone ignores.

Believe it or not this is a clearing winter storm.

This ancient stone circle was built on a huge stone jetty that many believe was a first landing site of space aliens.

The folks in Brookings love their seagulls so much - that they had a giant statue fabricated and placed right over the Chetco River bridge.

We're really not sure what the Brookingsites are up to here - it's a bit disconcerting.

The 21st Century photographer's pose.

And it's time for small dog antics!

The crazy thing can fly!

Its tiny socks never touch the sand!

Finally, enough energy has been burned off to concentrate on LeviBall, like a good padawan.

Wonder what the answer was?

A meeting of minds.

So much more than just a rock slab.

A time-honoured Brookings tradition: The Sunset Salute to the Seagulls.
